Claudia and Jack met in April 2023 and spent four hours on their first date sitting at a corner table at Connolly's in Uptown Charlotte.

They quickly bonded over their love of sports, so they spent the next few months going to baseball games, golf tournaments and plenty of ACC collegiate athletic events through Claudia's work.

It was easy for the two of them - blending seamlessly into each other's friend groups and settled into a natural rhythm - they just wanted to be around each other all the time. Claudia and Jack frequented Connolly's as often as they could while gallivanting from Charlotte to the Outer Banks to Kansas and Vegas a few times.

Claudia even got Jack to Arrowhead for a Chiefs game ;)

It was no secret they loved each other, and Jack proposed to Claudia on December 19 on Lake Norman.

They both had the day off, so they went to one of their favorite spots on the lake to celebrate before heading back the city for dinner and drinks at... none other than Connolly's.
